Dive deep into the fire of ‘Burnt Letters’—a raw, unflinching memoir of survival, self‑discovery, and the fierce resilience that rises from ashes.
The unflinching first installment in a gripping series about one woman’s fight to escape the inferno of toxic love and heal the scars etched deep by childhood trauma.
Burnt Letters: A Memoir
This isn’t a story whispered behind closed doors—it’s the blood-stained truth too many women hid from.
For fifteen brutal months, she was trapped in a spell dressed as “love” that left her questioning who she had become and how the hell she got in this mess.
Burnt Letters: A Memoir – Book 1 rips open the raw wound of a woman’s fight to reclaim herself.
She ran from herself and lied to everyone to earn his “love” and approval. She left once, only to be lured back by his poisonous whispers because deep inside, she still carried the shame of a frightened little girl. She wrote letters begging for forgiveness—letters she burned and watched as the flames engulfed her guilt.
By day, she was the unbreakable nurse in scrubs, stitching strangers’ bodies even as her own cracked open. By night, she clung to the few friends who refused to let her fall into the monster’s shadow. But she learned to be silent and not tell others about her horror. She was a bad little girl.
When the roar of the beast was too much to bear — desperate for silence, she attempted to take her own life. She stared down the barrel of his gun and felt its cold promise of finality—yet she survived. A therapist shattered her carefully crafted half-truths, forcing her to face every fracture of her soul, and she poured her bleeding story onto paper, one agonizing sentence at a time.
She ran again, hoping for a new life tied up pretty, with more lives. But she was determined to escape the wreckage she once called home.
This is her brutal descent into a love that nearly devoured her—and her fierce rebirth from its ashes. Burnt Letters: A Memoir – Book 1 isn’t tidy or polite. It’s a visceral roar of survival, a testament to every woman who dared to burn down her past and choose herself.
It is a wake-up call to the taboo topic of abuse and helps shed light on why we stay.
